At last, we had a Saturday that wasn't booked solid, so we took off for Ocean Shores for the day. Lexie napped for about an hour on the way there. She woke up just as we were entering the city and we had a Subway lunch. After that, we hit the beach for the rest of the afternoon. Lexie entertained herself with her sand toys and surprised us by not really trying to run off much. This made for a relaxing time for the adults. I am a wimp and was still cold with the chill of the wind, even though the sun was out and shinning. I guess I have been spoiled and have been to the warm beaches of Hawaii one too many times : )
