On her 8 month birthdayI thought I better write an 8 month update before Lexie turns 9 months. Our little girl has officially started crawling the right way (for along time she was getting around with the commando crawl.) She is still kind of slow (thank goodness) but so proud of her new found independence.
Here are some other things she is up to:
* Added "dada" to her vocab list.
* Lots more babbling.
* Discovered that she loves yogurt and cheese!
* Still obsessed with our cat and shrikes with delight when she sees her.
* Is fascinated by older kiddos.
* Loves stroller walks and being outside.
* Running in the jogging stroller with mom.
* Playing with other babies and people watching.
* She takes 2 naps a day (1hr-2hrs each.)
* 3 meals of solids a day.
There is no doubt Lexie is a people person. She loves interacting with anyone! She seems to know how to charm complete strangers wherever we go. The only challenge we have is she has not been the best eater these days. She would much rather be playing or moving around. Overall, she is doing great and we just love watching her grow : )
