Idaho-day 4- more water park
Breakfast of champions
Waiting for the slides to open. Grayson is only 5 months older then Lexie : )

We knew we had a long drive ahead of us and wanted to wear Lexie out, so we opted to repeat the water park adventure again before we checked out. She played her little heart out.
We checked out around noon and grabbed lunch at PitaPit, one of my favs. Since it was Mother's Day, all I wanted was a PitaPit and a quiet ride home. I got both. Lexie slept from Spokane to Northbend- almost 4 hours. Think she might of been a little over tired? We stopped for dinner there, and she was an angel the rest of the way home.
We had so much fun on our little mini-vacation. Prior, to this we hadn't been anywhere overnight (besides to Olympia) since camping in September. Our little girl was such a trooper, we are hoping to do some more little trips while we are just a family of 3.

Idaho-Day 3- Josh and Loretta's wedding
The smooch!
Watching the wedding (don't worry we were in the back row.)
Grayson Mullendore- yes he just turned 2 and is in 5T clothes..he's a moose!
Walking out of the ceremony...
Does this look like a kid-friendly wedding or what?
Put your hands together.
This is the end. Her classic laying on the ground signal.Travis's cousin, Loretta, was the beautiful bride. The wedding was held inside Silverwood and it was gorgeous. The lighting and decorations were awesome. We were a little nervous to see how the toddlers would hold up during the ceremony. But thanks to lots of snacks and small toys, they did pretty well. Only a couple of loud "more snacks" will be heard in their video recording : ) The ceremony was really touching and we are so happy for both Josh and Loretta. They make a great pair.
The reception was a blast and Travis said it was the best wedding food he has ever had : ) So many kiddos that took the stage to rock out. The band even played Scooby-dooby-doo. Lex did great , until we say her starting to lay on the floor (not asleep, but this is her classic "I'm tired" behavior.) Couldn't blame her, it was a fun filled day!
Idaho-day 3- Silverwood
1st Carousal ride
Grayson and Ty
Lex and Dada
We got "robbed" for charity on our train ride.
Practicing her wave
Checking out some anamials along the way.The wedding took place in Silverwood Theme Park, so we had free tickets for all day Saturday and Sunday. We got to park early to try out some of the rides, before the wedding. We met up with Tyrel, Susan, and Grayson and found some toddler friendly rides for the kiddos. The train ride, around the park was my favorite...it was really scenic and you got to see all of the rides and some surprises along the way. Lexie and Grayson thought they were on an episode of Thomas the Train.
Wish we would of had more time, but once again, I couldn't go on many rides. The roller coasters here looked really unique- so more of an excuse to come back again soon : )
Idaho-Day 3- water park
View of the wave pool
Getting ready to go down the slide...
Toddler heavenOkay- so I finally found a circuit city and got a battery charger, so at least I have pics from this point on!
Woke up and met up with some Brock cousins down at the continental breakfast. They were telling us how awesome the water park is (which is inside the hotel.) We figured we better check it out and got on our suits right away.
I was so surprised how Lexie went right for it. They had a huge toddler area, with smaller slides (just right for my preggo self) and random sprays. I have to say, I can't wait to go back when I don't have a bun in the oven because the huge water slides looked amazing. Travis and his cousin Tyrel played around on those and taunted me with how much fun they were. There was also a huge wave pool. I pretty much had to yank her out around lunch time because she was a raisin.

Idaho- Day 2
We woke up in Ellensburg and packed up. Then we headed to breakfast at our favorite place in town, Cattins. Lexie ate a ton of food and charmed all of the staff. They even sent her out with some free cookies, got to love the perks of having a cute kid.
Her full belly must of helped me out at nap time, because she slept the whole way from Ellensburg to Coeur d'Alene...well over 3 hours! It was such a nice, peaceful drive for us to be able to chat with one another.
We arrived at our hotel in Coeur d'Alene around 3pm, you got to check this place out if you are in town. Perfect place for kiddos or adults that play like kids. We got all of our stuff unpacked and headed back West on I-90 to Spokane to see our dear friends, The Oords.
The Oords just bought an amazing house near Gonzaga U in Spokane. They cooked up some BBQ for us and it was so nice to visit. Their son, Keith, was our ringbearer in 2004 : ) He is pretty much a little man now. Lexie enjoyed climbing up and down all 3 stories of their house.
We headed back to our hotel pretty late...just in time for bath and bed, knowing the next day would be jam packed.

Our fun trip to Idaho- Day 1
We headed to Idaho to attend a wedding and made it in to a 4 day mini-road trip. We left on Thursday, during nap time, so Lexie slept in the car from our house to Northbend (about 1hr20mins.) Once there we explored the outlet malls and got her a new pair of shoes at the Stride-rite outlet. If you know our girl, you know she LOVES shoes and when we were in the store she kept running through aisles, tearing through the boxes, screaming "shoes!" Yes, I think they were happy to see us leave.
After lunch and shopping, we headed to Ellensburg. The home of our prestigious CWU. Travis and I were so excited to bum around the same town we met and fell in love in. The weather was gorgeous and we lucked out on a great deal in a nice hotel. We took Lexie to the University and bookstore and bought some CWU gear. We had a great dinner at a yummy restaurant and enjoyed the sights of the little city we love.
You will notice there is no pictures of Day 1 or 2 of our trip. I forgot to charge up my camera before I left and was asking every store in town if the sold the USB for it...with no luck! However, we found a solution and made up for it on day 3 and 4.
